Dog Training Programs in Dubai
Every dog is different. A puppy that needs to learn the basics is not the same as an adult dog that lunges at other dogs on walks. A dog that destroys the house when left alone needs a different approach than one that guards its food bowl.
We do not run one-size-fits-all group classes. We work with you and your dog individually — in your home, in your neighborhood, in the places where the behavior actually happens — and build a training plan around your specific situation.
Below are the programs we offer. If you are not sure which one fits, get in touch and we will figure it out together.
Aggression and Reactivity
For dogs that lunge, bark, or growl at other dogs or people. For dogs that guard food, toys, or spaces. For dogs whose behavior may include snapping or biting. For dogs where walks and everyday situations feel stressful and hard to manage.
Aggression is not a personality — it is a response to a specific stimulus or situation. It can be driven by fear, anxiety, frustration, past experience, or something in the dog's environment that is not right. We look at the full picture using the L.E.G.S. model (Learning, Environment, Genetics, Self) and build a behavior modification plan that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms.
This is our deepest area of expertise. Enric holds a certification in aggression from Michael Shikashio's program and is an IAABC-accredited dog trainer.
Puppy Training
For new puppies and their owners. Socialization, potty training, bite inhibition, leash walking, and basic foundation — all taught using positive reinforcement in your home and in real-world settings around Dubai.
The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life are a very important window for socialization. During this time, puppies are forming key associations that influence how they perceive and respond to the world. Early experiences can significantly support healthy development, but behavior is always shaped continuously throughout life through learning and environment.
This is why it is so important to ensure that a puppy’s early experiences are positive and well-guided. As owners, our goal is to help them build safe, confident associations during this stage, creating a strong foundation for future learning and behavior.
Separation Anxiety
For dogs that struggle when left home alone. Barking, howling, destructive behavior, house soiling — not because the dog is bored or untrained, but because they genuinely cannot cope with being on their own.
This program is run entirely online using systematic desensitization — the only evidence-based method that reliably works for separation anxiety. You record your dog's sessions, we review them daily and adjust your training plan. Available worldwide, not just Dubai.
Anna is a certified Separation Anxiety Behavior Consultant, trained under Julie Naismith's program.
Husbandry Training
For dogs that struggle with grooming, vet visits, nail trims, ear cleaning, or being handled. We teach your dog to cooperate — and eventually participate in — daily care routines without stress or force.
This is called cooperative care and it can be taught in a stress-free way. Why should a dog be put through unnecessary stress if we have the ability to teach them that these experiences can be safe and predictable?
Instead of holding a dog down to clip their nails, we teach the dog to offer their paw willingly. Instead of forcing a muzzle on, we teach the dog to put their nose in it by choice. It takes longer upfront, but it transforms the experience from something the dog endures into something they learn to cooperate with.
Most people do not think about husbandry training until there is a problem — the dog that bites the groomer, the dog that has to be sedated for a vet visit. We can prevent that, or we can work to change it if it has already started.
Enrichment
For dogs that are bored, under-stimulated, or need confidence-building. Puzzle toys, scent work, problem-solving games and agility exercises that offer both the mental and physical stimulation they need.
Dogs need mental stimulation as much as they need physical exercise. A tired dog is not just a dog that has run around the park — it is a dog that has had to think, make decisions, and solve problems. Enrichment helps with anxiety, reduces unwanted behaviors, and builds a more confident, resilient dog.
We design enrichment plans tailored to your dog's breed, age, energy level, and living situation.
How All Our Programs Work
In-home sessions.
We come to you anywhere in Dubai. Training happens where your dog lives and where the behavior needs to change — your apartment, your building, your neighborhood.
Owner coaching.
We do not just train your dog — we teach you. You are with your dog all day, every day. Understanding their body language, their emotional state, and learning process is key to lasting results. We guide you through how to respond in real time, so training becomes a part of daily life — not just the session itself.
Customized plans.
Every program starts with a consultation where we meet you and your dog in person. We discuss your goals, your expectations, your dog’s behavior, and your dog’s environment. Then we build a plan that fits.
Force-free methods.
We use positive reinforcement and the L.E.G.S. applied ethology model, focusing on safe and effective learning for dogs. We do not use aversive techniques that cause pain, fear, or discomfort. As IAABC-accredited dog trainers, we follow science-based and ethical methods to help your dog.
Not Sure Where to Start?
That is fine. Many of our clients come to us not knowing exactly what their dog needs. Some dogs have more than one thing going on — a reactive dog that also has separation anxiety, a puppy that is already showing signs of resource guarding.
Start with a consultation. We will talk about your dog, ask you some questions, and figure out the right program together. There is no pressure to commit to anything in that first conversation.
